Enrichetta and Ray Palmer examine the Humbug's skin, and find that it is a polymer that contains micro-circuitry. Enricha, however, is more curious about Ray's feelings for Jean. In Calvin City, Jean finds Paul still awake, and they argue about Jean's possible attraction to Ray. Jean walks away when she realizes that Paul wore the Bio-Belt, and Paul is enraged. When Jean returns to apologize and finds an empty room, she knows where Paul has gone.
